About Kevin

Kev’s Story

Kevin is a Ph.D. candidate at Liberty University. He has a Master’s in Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University, and his BA in Global Studies – Sociology / Anthropology from Florida International University.

Primary Research interest is in Civil War Medicine and the Western Sanitary Commission and its use of steam ships as hospital ships at the Battle of Pittsburg Landing – Shiloh, along the Tennessee River.

 Kevin is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving on three aircraft carriers: the U.S.S. Forrestal, the U.S.S. Kennedy, and the U.S.S. America. He is a disabled veteran.
